    How come I haven’t seen any fire ants this season yet? Not complaining “at all”. Just curious. Can we expect them back? What I have seen is a lot of trails of these tiny dark ants, anything to do with the missing fire ants?

      Lucky you! they’re around. Last time I was bit was at Palm Springs Park but now that you mention it they haven’t been as bad as they were. I haven’t seen any new news about biological control organisms having a local impact and I’ve been waiting. Doubtful any other ant species is having an impact though.
